A little background on my story before you dive into the deep stuff; My name is Sabrina and I was widowed at twenty-four years old. I lost my husband, Sean, to suicide on 12/23/2017 when I was twenty-one weeks pregnant. I’m a full-time “step” momma to seven year old Luke and delivered our sweet baby girl, Gwendolyn in May 2018.
I’ve been inspired to write this blog by the countless other widows and widowers who have lost their spouses to mental illness and had the courage to share their story.
They say the best place to start is at the beginning- so here we go!
