Growing Pains

I recently purchased a new home that’s about twice the size of my current home. With Gwendolyn becoming more mobile and Luke growing bigger, we need more space both now, and for us to grow into for the next fifteen+ years. While I am both excited to be a first-time home buyer- I face a perplexing situation.

Where am I going to put Sean?

Currently, he’s packed in a box that I’ll transport in my car, but before that he had a memorial shelf on a bookcase in my itty-bitty living room. So, now I’ve been thinking of where to put him in the new house- feel free to chime in with your own suggestions.

First I thought about putting him in the nook that’s in the entry way, but I thought that might be a little off-putting- Welcome to my home! This is my dead husband.

Then someone suggested I put him in the kitchen- but I don’t want his ashes to get confused with pepper.

I’ve been thinking of putting him in my walk in closer- I mean, it has a window. At least he’d have a view, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
